Andy Mortensen has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Arizona. Prior to his founding New Media Solutions in 1996, he was involved in two other successful Internet startups, AccessCom Internet Services and NewOrleans.Com.

He's an award winning copywriter from his days penning radio spots for Reebok, Columbia Sportswear and Budweiser and an Addy award winning web producer. He's a board member and investor for several new technology startups, hotels and other real estate ventures.
